Hi, About 6 months ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding X failing to start because of xf86EnableIOPorts errors. I am kind of surprised that the problem appeared when upgrading x11-common. Did you reproduce this problem recently? With Xorg/Etch? With latest Xorg packages currently
