I was going to send you my config, when I noticed that there is a lang
parameter in the configuration file. Setting it to EN solves the
problem, reverting to IT makes gcstar crash again: so it is a locale
problem.
So, the problem seems to happen when the lang parameter is set
to it *and* the file
