Package: wodim Version: 9:1.1.2-1 Severity: important Neither DVD nor CD writing is writing useable discs. The writing goes OK then it gives an error during fixating. Initial writing was done from Nautilus (which uses wodim -doa ). So I tried using wodim directly to get some feedback on what 'the error' was.
I am getting a Floating POint Exception. These tests were done with CDs but I suspect the same error is occurring with DVDs. Any suggestions? The disks are PNY technologies and have worked fine in the past with cdrecord in sarge. This machine has just recently been upgraded to pre-etch so this is probably the first time with wodim. knossos:/home/heidi/images# wodim --verbose -dummy -dao AforO-05.iso Quickly guessing the name of a drive capable to write CD-R, please wait...
