There hasn't even been a reply to this bug or 411670 in seven months. The qingy package should probably be removed from the archive (and definately shouldn't be released with lenny) with this level of support for a fails to even work bug, especially one with the solution in the bug report.

Package: qingy Version: 0.9.3ds1-1 Severity: important qingy appears to call the user's shell with the parameter --login. This is not a valid parameter to all shells, and prevents login with, e.g., csh, dash, sash. The proper parameter to call a login shell is -l. -- System Information: Debian
