The attached patch from Paul fixes the problem described here, is there any chance of having this patch applied to the txt2man code so that we can actually use it for man pages. As mentioned the txt2man currently generates buggy man pages that are not displayed correctly on any UTF-8 locales and it would be really good to get this fixed as its almost 12 months old and has a working solution.
