Package: console-data Version: 2:1.01-7 Severity: normalTags: patch l10n
Hello there,
I am emailing from Greece. The fonts `iso07.f16', `iso07.f14' and `iso07.f08' have (as expected) exactly the same character table (encoding). I tested `iso07.f16' and `iso07.f14' and they display correctly. However, `iso07.f08' is completely wrong. The characters in there are not Greek, that's for sure! I drew it with `cfe' and Isend it to you as an attachment.
I hear somebody has done this in the past but I couldn't find any fonts (or maybe I didn't search well enough). Anyway, here it is. It may not be the best possible font, but it is correct. I tried tomimic the style of the Latin characters in the font.
I am using Debian version 3.1 . I was using version `2002.12.04dbs-49' of the console-data package but I downloaded the latest version (2:1.01-7) from the unstable release and the font isstill wrong!

NOTE: I had downloaded and installed the latest version of `console-data' to see if the font was fixed, but it was not and thisthing (debconf?) probably thought I had modified the entire package.
