Package: reportbug
Version: 3.31
Severity: important

If 'other' is typed as package name, reportbug currently displays the
following list:

1 base General bugs in the base system
2 boot-floppies Bugs in the woody installation subsystem
 3 bugs.debian.org The bug tracking system, @bugs.debian.org
 4 cdimage.debian.org CD Image issues
5 cdrom Problems with installation from CD-ROMs
6 debian-policy Proposed changes in the Debian policy documentation
7 ftp.debian.org Problems with the FTP site
8 general General problems (e.g., that many manpages are mode 755)
9 install Problems with the sarge installer.
10 installation General installation problems not covered otherwise.
11 linux-image Problems with the Linux kernel, or the kernel shipped
with Debian
12 listarchives Problems with the WWW mailing list archives
13 lists.debian.org The mailing lists, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
14 mirrors Problems with Debian archive mirrors.
15 nonus.debian.org Problems with the non-US FTP site
16 press Press release issues
17 project Problems related to Project administration
18 qa.debian.org Problems related to the quality assurance group
19 security.debian.org Problems with the security updates server
20 upgrade-reports Reports of successful and unsucessful upgrades
21 wnpp Work-Needing and Prospective Packages list
22 www.debian.org Problems with the WWW site (including other
*.debian.org sites)

This list is severely out of sync with the existing pseudo packages as
listed on http://www.debian.org/Bugs/pseudo-packages.

2, 9, 10: all obsolete and should be replaced by "installation-reports"
11: should be "kernel"
15: obsolete and should be removed

Missing in the list is: release-notes.

The list also has debian-policy which is not a pseudo package, but
probably OK to keep included and does not have tech-ctte, which is
probably also OK, but could be added.

Please consider updating this for Etch as well with the next point
release as the presence of obsolete pseudo packages leads to quite a few
incorrectly filed BRs and thus unnecessary work for the people
reassigning such BRs.

Cheers,
FJP
