Hello Andreas, The 0.6.22 version has been released to experimental (due to the big set of changes introduced). That version no longer writes by default .svn/deb-layout at every run. The writing happens only if this is explicitly requested via the --svn-savecfg option.
Since calling svn-bp with --svn-tag and --svn-savecfg doesn't seem to make sense (you either want to tag, or you want to create a skeleton local override), I would like to close this bug. Would you please test svn-buildpackage 0.6.22[*] and check if this bug appears in any other form when tagging (without --svn-savecfg)? Thanks in advance.
