Package: debian-etch installerThe kernel used in the etch installer finds devices on the Adaptec I2O raid card as /dev/sdx So setting up partitions uses those dev nodes but when it comes time to actually boot into the newly installed system it has a hernia because the 2.6.18-4 kernel uses /dev/i2o/hdx instead.
