Package: gcc-4.1 Version: 4.1.2-12 Severity: important I tracked down why glibc didn't build anymore on hppa. This is related to the new gcc-4.1. All version post 4.1.2-8 (that is 4.1.2-11 and 4.1.2-12) breaks at the same place in the log : gcc-4.1 -shared -static-libgcc -Wl,-O1 -Wl,-z,defs
