Not impossible but highly unlikely,
My guess is that it is one of those bugs which only happen as a weird
sideeffect of something else, e.g. a certain system state.
Unfortunately this makes them extremely difficult to debug, since in order
to
fix a bug one needs to be able to reproduce it relyably.
