This is a rewrite of cruft in C.
It reads mlocate binary database dirreclty to achieve a 15x - 30x speed-up.

During the BoF about cruft, we speak about speed issue of cruft. I just
take a look at cruft code (not a long look though). I think you should
replace find by locate (only 1 occurrence in cruft script). This can
give you a great improvement and we only be
