Package: xmms-midi Version: 0.03-4 Severity: important
XMMS can play start midi playup back correctly, but when you attempt to interrupt playback in any way (pause, stop, or skip song, quit XMMS, etc) XMMS hangs (becomes nonresponsive). The current song does stop playing but the XMMS UI is completely nonresponsive (can't even drag the window). 'top' doesn't report any CPU usage. There are no additional messages on the console. XMMS also freezes when a MIDI ends normally. I am able to change positions in a song or change the volume without freezes. When I break XMMS with Ctrl+C (while it is in this state) I get a "Segmentation Fault" error. My XMMS version is 1:1.2.10+20070501-1. Reportbug didn't include that. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_ZA, LC_CTYPE=en_ZA (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages xmms-midi depends on: ii libc6 2.5-9+b1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libglib1.2 1.2.10-17 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk1.2 1.2.10-18 The GIMP Toolkit set of widgets fo ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 1:1.0.3-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxi6 1:1.0.1-4 X11 Input extension library Versions of packages xmms-midi recommends: ii freepats 20060219-1 Free patch set for MIDI audio synt -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
