Because /usr/bin/man is a symlink and doesn't exist as a file in any
package. "dpkg -S" searches through the contents of
the /va
Package: dpkg
Version: 1.13.25 (i386).
why not found package man?
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc# dpkg -S /usr/bin/man
dpkg: /usr/bin/man not found.
