I just uploaded the newest version (3.14) of sshmenu. Could you
update to this newest version and let me know if you still have a
problem or not.
Also, could you try adding some other (not sshmenu) applet to the
GNOME panel and see whether you encounter the same error message.

that there were a problem while loading «OAFIID:GNOME_SSHMenuApplet»
and asking me whether I want to delete the applet from the
