Seems like this issue is really some ABI incompatibility on wxwidgets and gtk
level - with Clearlooks or Mist theme hugin starts normally, but when my
favorite Murrine theme is selected, hugin dies on startup.

I forgot to add that hugin seems to crash just in time when it usually draws
its GUI.
There seems to be something wrong with wxwidgets and gtk after last upgrade as
Gnome 2.20 gets into Sid. Please see comments on (maybe) similar audacity crash
