Package: gnome-mount Version: 0.7-1 Followup-For: Bug #445894 When gnome-mount reads extra parameters it's simply don't read default_options from hal, version 0.7 still affects this bug. For work-around - launch gconf-editor, select system/storage/default_options/vfat/, open key 'mount_options'
