Finding for a lightweight replacement for game-like consoles, like the ones in kubuntu (I think that this is yakuake, see: http://www.debianadmin.com/yakuake-terminal-in-a-quake-style.html), I try yeahconsole. It's great!!!. I like the tabbed consoles and usually use mrxvt. For this, i test mrxvt with yeaconsole, and it works fine!!. Only put 'yeahconsole*term:mrxvt' in your .Xdefaults file and voila!! :-D. A good config for this is (in ~/.Xdefaults): yeahconsole*term:mrxvt -sr -sl 500 -bt yeahconsole*toggleKey:None+F12 yeahconsole*aniDelay:10 yeahconsole*consoleHeight:20 yeahconsole*xOffset:5 With this you have a console that drops fast from the up of the screen (aniDelay), when you press the F12 key (toggleKey) and have a bar in the down side for open some tabs. Amazing, no? :-D. For this, I think that we can put mrxvt in the supported console list, and put a dependency like the xterm and rxvt-unicode ones. Many thanks for all. Greetings.
