This bugreport is not abouting the ABI breakage if libflickrnet, that is solved in debian, see #458844. The ABI breakage triggered the same symptom (missing menu entries) but this bugreport is a different issue (upgrade breaks addins DB) with the same visible symptom in the end. Please keep the debian bugreports clean, if ubuntu experience similar problems or even maybe the same one (difficult to tell as they are different distributions), then only the solution should be reported back.
