Hi,
I'm facing the exact same problem. Its really annoying because it makes
working with a lot of terminals really problematic. A note:

When urxvt is placed on a second, third... workspace, it moves itself into
workspace one after opening a new perl tab or doing something in urxvt which
has more than one tab opened.
