To workaround this problem, you can accress the hardwareclock with: computer:/var/log# hwclock -r select() to /dev/rtc to wait for clock tick timed out computer:/var/log# hwclock --directisa -r Fr 22 Feb 2008 13:19:13 CET -0.095899 seconds computer:/var/log# hwclock --directisa --systohc
