Bug#471518: emacs21: Starts with all characters as a box

Package: emacs21 Version: 21.4a+1-3etch1 Severity: normal When I start emacs, characters display as an empty box. See screenshot: http://www.taleman.fi/Emacs-kumma.png If I go to Options | Mule | Set Font/Fontset and select Courier 14 pt, characters on the main window start showing properly.
