the only way would be to make sure libGL.so.1 cannot be loaded.
You could perhaps rename it so wine can't find it (and rename it
back when you need to run transcode, perhaps).
Moving the /usr/lib/libGL.so* files out of the way doesn't work
either. Perhaps it's loading the 32bit version from

package, but when I uninstall libwine-gl it doesn't work either.
Then you should also uninstall any libgl1 packages that may have gotten
installed
