I'd like to maintain vim-rails on Debian. I've built a package for the current version on the Ruby team repository: http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-ruby-extras/trunk/vim-rails/debian/#_trunk_vim-rails_debian_ This package contains only rails.vim itself, while as far as I can see you included a some other stuff on your Ubuntu package (some of them are already available in the vim-scripts package).
