Sadly, the proposed work-around did not work. I've included my xorg.conf, xorg.0.log and gdm.log I'd be willing to try to No DRI option workaround again, however, I think that one reason it maybe appears to work is because I'm able to frequently reboot my machine, as opposed to standby and
