Hi,
I cannot pinpoint what resolved my issue, but after upgrade of the kernel
linux-image-2.6.26-1-amd64 to version 2.6.26-3 on the AP and switch to ath5k
on the laptop everything works smoothly now.

same here without hostapd and with WEP.

I get "Stuck beacon" errors and clients lose association. Everything worked
perfectly with 0.9.4~rc2 modules. I do not use hostapd, madwifi is configured
for Master mode with udhcpd
