I tested s2ram on my brand new MSI Wind, and it works fine without any workarounds needed. I tested it from both X and the virtual console; however, I did not test with a framebuffer. I couldn't find a way to enable the framebuffer. The stock Debian kernel doesn't do it, and for some reason the kernel I specially compiled to test framebuffer support, didn't activate the framebuffer either. I gave up then :). My system info: This machine can be identified by: sys_vendor = "MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD" sys_product = "U-100" sys_version = "Ver.001" bios_version = "4.6.3" By the way; my current kernel is home-compiled. But s2ram worked fine with the stock Debian kernel as well. Unfortunately, some other things didn't. That's why you'll see a custom kernel in the reportbug output below.
