Hi,

Thanks for maintaining debian's tkdesk package.

It's handy.

I happened to notice that the shortcuts described
in 

    file:///usr/share/doc/tkdesk/tkdesk-doc/guide-9.html

conflict with the options used by the date
command. 

The date command's options can be seen with 

    man date

For example, +%x tells date which format to report
the date with, but tkdesk replaces %x with the X
selection.

It seems to me that other commands may also
conflict.

Perhaps tkdesk should provide a way to escape
shortcuts, like with a leading "\" character, for
example.
