Package: tkdesk Version: 2.0-9 Severity: normal
Hi, Thanks for maintaining debian's tkdesk package. It's handy. I happened to notice that the shortcuts described in file:///usr/share/doc/tkdesk/tkdesk-doc/guide-9.html conflict with the options used by the date command. The date command's options can be seen with man date For example, +%x tells date which format to report the date with, but tkdesk replaces %x with the X selection. It seems to me that other commands may also conflict. Perhaps tkdesk should provide a way to escape shortcuts, like with a leading "\" character, for example. Thanks, Kingsley interpretations of what %x means. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.25-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages tkdesk depends on: ii blt 2.4z-3 the BLT extension library for Tcl/ ii itcl3 3.2.1-5 [incr Tcl] OOP extension for Tcl - ii libc6 2.7-12 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-4 X11 client-side library ii tcl8.4 8.4.19-2 Tcl (the Tool Command Language) v8 ii tk8.4 8.4.19-1 Tk toolkit for Tcl and X11, v8.4 - tkdesk recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
