Hello Simon,
some years ago you opend this report.
But unfortunately no one appended a comment or suggestion. Until today
some new packages are released. And I belive that this behavior is'nt
exit anymore.
If so I would like to close this bug. Or did you have some news on this.

already. If I cancel the sending process and then enter the password,
icedove will crash without saving the mail.
