Newer versions of g-p-m try to shut down the system with consolekit,
whose policy only allows the user of an active session to do so. So I
think this bug is fixed in unstable.

I have noticed some strange behaviour from gnome-power-manager.
I have enforced sleep_type_ac=hibernate and sleep_computer_ac=600 for all users
through gconf-editor, so that the computer automatically hibernates after 10
minutes
