Package: libxine1 Version: 1.1.16.1-2 Severity: important
I was having problems with music playback with amarok 2.0.1 and kde 4.2.0 (both from experimental), as amarok would play the first song on a playlist but would stop playing after the first song, becomming frozen. I found a bug report on amarok's kde bug page (bug no. 180339) that tracks the issue down to libxine1 (the problem with amarok disapear if I select the gstream backend instead of xine), specifically with version 1.1.16 (the problem no longer occurs after I've donwgraded libxine1, libxine1-x, libxine1-console and libxine1-misc-plugins to version 1.1.14-5 from Lenny. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libxine1 depends on: hi libxine1-console 1.1.16.1-2 libaa/libcaca/framebuffer/directfb hi libxine1-misc-plugins 1.1.16.1-2 Input, audio output and post plugi hi libxine1-x 1.1.16.1-2 X desktop video output plugins for Versions of packages libxine1 recommends: hi libxine1-ffmpeg 1.1.16.1-2 MPEG-related plugins for libxine1 Versions of packages libxine1 suggests: pn libxine1-doc | li <none> (no description available) ii xine-ui 0.99.5+cvs20070914-2.1 the xine video player, user interf -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
