Hi again, I could ssh to my machine during a hang. there's nothing in the log, nothing in dmesg. I could gdb the X server and client (carousel) but the traces make no sense to me: carousel: (gdb) bt #0 0xb801f424 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb7cb0b59 in ioctl () from /lib/i686/cmov/libc.so.6
