Subject: openoffice.org-gtk: makes OOo crash on "save as" and "export" Package: openoffice.org-gtk Version: 1:3.0.1-4+b1 Severity: important
*** Please type your report below this line *** As per subject, having the openoffice.org-gtk package installed causes the application (Writer, Calc and friends) to hang up on "Save as" and "Export" actions, before showing any file dialog (i.e. choose the output filename). Only way to come out is to kill the application. I tried uninstalling OOo and re-installing just the base packages, it works. When I installed openoffice.org-gtk I found out it was the cause of this bug, even though I can't say why. I'm willing to help for the bug triaging, if you can point me to instructions on how to use strace with OOo or similar tools.
