Hi,

[ Cc added debia...@lists.debian.org which maintains
xf86-input-evtouch and dropped for pkg-fso-maint as this is no longer
related to openmoko ]

Cool, the

Rotation rotation = rrGetScrPriv (pScrn->pScreen) ?
RRGetRotation(pScrn->pScreen) : RR_Rotate_0;

trick could be just what xf86-input-evtouch might want to use too
instead of disabling it completely with
patches/06_xf86-input-evtouch-0.8.7-misc.patch as

| -       Rotation rotation = RRGetRotation(pScrn->pScreen);
| +
| +// X Segfaults
| +//     Rotation rotation = RRGetRotation(pScrn->pScreen);

What do you think?

best regards,
Timo Lindfors
