yaird error: can't open pci module list /lib/modules/2.6.29-rc8/modules.pcimap (fatal) -- this is what i get when I issue mkinitrd.yaird -o /boot/initrd.img-2.6.29-rc8 2.6.29-rc8; on the other hand update-initramfs works ok. Not sure if this is also a kernel problem, since the git pull of yesterday got me a kernel panic, but today's git works ok (typing from it as we speak).
