Please recheck with recent binutils in unstable.
I'm downgrading this report for now; PIE is not the default and can be turned
off for a working dbus (which the current dbus package does).
I tried with an up-to-date toolchain yesterday and the resulting dbus-daemon
binary is still broken

reassign -1 gcc-4.3
retitle -1 dbus-daemon segfaults on mips(el) when compiled/linked with pie
