dblatex includes some .sty files that are already provided by texlive packages, e.g. dblatex: /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/dblatex/misc/attachfile.sty texlive-latex-extra: /usr/share/texmf-texlive/tex/latex/attachfile/attachfile.sty dblatex: /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/dblatex/misc/bibtopic.sty texlive-bibtex-extra: /usr/share/texmf-texlive/tex/latex/bibtopic/bibtopic.sty dblatex: /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/dblatex/misc/enumitem.sty texlive-latex-extra: /usr/share/texmf-texlive/tex/latex/enumitem/enumitem.sty dblatex: /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/dblatex/misc/lastpage.sty texlive-latex-extra: /usr/share/texmf-texlive/tex/latex/lastpage/lastpage.sty dblatex: /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/dblatex/misc/ragged2e.sty texlive-latex-extra: /usr/share/texmf-texlive/tex/latex/ragged2e/ragged2e.sty The problem is that these .sty files from dblatex are older than those from texlive (e.g. 2002/08/22 for dblatex's bibtopic.sty and 2006/09/08 for texlive's bibtopic.sty) and they have the precedence. For attachfile.sty, enumitem.sty, lastpage.sty and ragged2e.sty, dblatex already depends on texlive-latex-extra; so, I suppose they can just be removed.
