Package: samba-common
Version: 2:3.4.0-3
Severity: wishlist

I'm currently working on automating the setup of some machines, which
include some Samba shares. At the moment, we have to monkey around
with smb.conf directly, but this will become painful if we ever start
using different config files on different machines (as upgrades will
have to involve conflict resolution). It'd be good if there were a
directory (something like '/etc/samba/smb.d/') in which I could drop a
snippet just containing the couple of shares I'm concerned with.
