Hi, I have also found this behaviour an issue.
I have found that by disabling KDE single click to open files/folders sorts this out. I am not running (full) KDE itself. The application runs on a headless remote server, (display is done remotely to whichever desktop I use), so I adjusted the KDE configuration file directly: Edit ~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals add/edit section: [KDE] SingleClick=false I am not sure, but maybe it can be possible to disable it for just this one application. As I don't need that, the above works fine for me.
