Bug#565148: racoon dies too early preventing nfs share to be unmounted

2010-08-31 Thread Андрей Васильев
Stefan, thank you for help. The racoon is now stopped after sendsigs. To get things work in my environment i have changed Required-Start and Required-Stop to networking in racoon init script and added racoon to Required-Stop in nfs-common init scripts. But this problem is beyond current bug.

Andrew, i totaly misunderstood your bug-report. Here is what i got: In previous versions (like yours 1:0.7.1-1.5) racoon had no stop-link in the runlevels 0 and 6 (halt and reboot) so that was triggering sendsigs to kill the remaining processes. Since 1:0.7.3-1 there are also links in runlevel

Package: racoon Version: 1:0.7.1-1.5 Hello, I have an NFS share, witch requires IPSec connection. Script sendsigs needs /usr share to be mounted in the shutdown process. It calles killall from /usr/bin. The problem is that racoon is killed by sendsigs, preventing normal umount process for nfs
