No answer yet again. Sorry, I'm getting annoyed. If you are not willing to give
out
the information I asked for several times, fine, but don't expect me caring of
your bug report then.

Michael
I failed to understand what information you need exactly. If it is my fault, sorry. You last asked me to make sure that it's not something specific to my hand-compiled kernel; I replied that it happens exactly the same [repeatedly, as I stated this in my original report] with the Debian kernesl as well. The script is the one in /etc/init.d/ called 'virtualbox' whihch gets installed automatically by Debian apparently in order to compile a .ko at boot time for the running kernel if it doesn't exist (the .ko). What am I hiding from you? You want a dmesg from a Debian kernel? Will do. Want /var/log/messages ? Will do. Just SAY IT. Don't accuse me of not providing information.

Package: virtualbox-ose
Version: 3.1.2-dfsg-1+b1
Severity: important

If I do a cat /var/log/messages | grep vboxdrv, I get this :

which translates that VirtualBox can't build a .ko for neither of my
installed kernels (2.6.30-1-amd64, 2.6.32-trunk-amd64,
2.6.33-rc8-00113-gf8b55f2) hence it's useless.
