That has a bad downside: when I installed gnome and decided I don't want to use it and rather install fluxbox, I will have to delete all gnome-dependent packages manually. I'd however greet the 'transitional' section, which are to put transitional metapackages that can safely be removed, and dependencies of which are considered manually installed. -- Eugene V.
