I'm the maintainer of the miro package, which uses python-libtorrent. I'd like to switch miro to Python 2.6 soonish, but that is currently not possible as python-libtorrent only provides a Python 2.5 *.so file, but none for 2.6: /usr/lib/pyshared/python2.5/libtorrent.so Please consider building the module for both versions (or providing two packages, whichever makes more sense).
