Judging from https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/ticket/2769 https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/ticket/4011 I suspect this may be a longstanding problem in boost. It's worth bringing up with upstream on the boost lists http://lists.boost.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi -Steve
