Package: ept-cache

I just ran into this as well:

Setting up ept-cache (1.0.3) ...
/var/lib/dpkg/info/ept-cache.postinst: line 12: dpkg-maintscript-helper: 
command not found

This is going to happen with all the upgrades from lenny.

Is it necessary to use dpkg-maintscript-helper? Why not just remove the file?
