Hi,
with Sebastian's patches, I still get a build error, about unknown stswi
and lswi asm instructions.
Attaching a patch that fixes it.

On powerpcspe it fails to build because it always tries to use AltiVec,
even if it is not available. I attached two patches which compile and
use AltiVec only if AltiVec
