Pootle relies on the xapian-check command to test for xapian version (it can't get this information from the API to avoid causing deadlocks under apache). this means Pootle package has a dependency on the xapian-tools package as well as python-xapian. signature.asc Description: PGP signature

Package: pootle Version: 2.0.1-2 I have libxapian15 and python-xapian installed in version 1.0.20-1, but the admin page of pootle tells me: Optional * No text indexing engine found. Searching is faster if an indexing engine like Xapian or Lucene is installed. I'm running pootle under mod_ws
