Package: doxygen Version: 1.7.1-2 Severity: normal debian/rules indicates that noopt and debug are supported in DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS. Both add the appropriate flags to CFLAGS.
Both are ignored. The only way I could get a debug build was by passing the --debug option to ./configure. Christian
