Package: emacs22-common Version: 22.2+2-5 I need to use Ange-FTP to access some remote files from Emacs. Therefore I want to unload Tramp. I can do this interactively via M-x tramp-unload-tramp without problems. However, if I put (tramp-unload-tramp) into my .emacs, I get this message in the minibuffer when emacs starts:
