Package: pure-ftpd-mysql
Version: 1.0.21-11.4
Severity: normal

I start off by running
"apt-get --purge remove pure-ftpd-mysql pure-ftpd pure-ftpd-common"
to make sure there's no traces left of the package.

I then install by running
"apt-get install pure-ftpd-mysql"

Directly after running the install command there is a instance of pure-ftp
started which can't be shut
down by running
"/etc/init.d/pure-ftpd-mysql stop"

When I use my ftp client and connect it the instance shows up as a process and
then disappears.
The process is not found if I do
"ps aux | grep pure-ftpd"
except for when I try to connect with my ftp client and then run the command
directly after trying to connect.

This problem of a double instance stops the instance with mysql from running
resulting in all
connection atempts from failing.
